Abstract

ITALIANO: Partendo dalle edizioni critiche recenti che hanno riguardato numerose opere di Pier Damiani alla luce del clima di rinnovamento degli studi damianei si prendono in esame alcuni percorsi della tradizione testuale di Pier Damiani in epoca moderna, e in particolare le varie riedizioni del lavoro compiuto all’inizio del Cinquecento da Costantino Gaetani fino all’approdo nella pubblicazione dei due volumi dedicati agli scritti di Pier Damiani nella Patrologia Latina di J.P. Migne. Lo studio intende porre in evidenza il fatto che le riedizioni hanno una loro propria identità che fa sì che apportino contributi specifici al processo di trasmissione dei testi. L’evoluzione dei testi damianei nella tradizione a stampa dipende da una serie di passaggi non necessariamente consecutivi e coerenti, ma spesso differenti e/o paralleli, con alcuni punti di snodo fondamentali. / ENGLISH: Starting from the recent critical editions that have concerned many works of Peter Damian in the light of the climate of renewal of the “damianei” studies, the study examine some paths of the textual tradition of Peter Damian in the modern era, and in particular the various editions of the work done at the beginning of the 16th century by Constantino Gaetani up landing in the publication of two volumes devoted to the writings of Peter Damian in the Patrologia Latina of J.P. Migne. The study aims to highlight the fact that the re-editions have their own identity, which causes that bring specific contributions to the process of transmission of the texts. The evolution of the “damianei” texts in the printed tradition depends on a series of steps not necessarily consecutive and consistent, but often different and/or parallel, with some fundamental points of articulation.
