Abstract

[IT] In questo contributo sono presentati i risultati dello studio compiuto sulle terme romane di Trebula Balliensis, con particolare attenzione ai manufatti rinvenuti negli ambienti W-D-E nel corso degli scavi eseguiti nel 2009. Il materiale ceramico analizzato appartiene alla sequenza stratigrafica UUSS 4-5, relativa al periodo di abbandono dell'impianto termale. Oltre a vari contenitori d'età tardoantica, simili ad altri ben documentati in Campania, appare di particolare rilievo il ritrovamento di numerosi frammenti di lucerne giudaiche con il simbolo del candelabro. Alla luce di questi e altri reperti, si delinea una nuova proposta d'interpretazione sulle ultime fasi di frequentazione della struttura. Judaic Lamps from the Baths of Trebula Balliensis The purpose of this contribution is the analysis of the Baths of Trebula Balliensis, with a particular focus on the diagnostic artifacts recovered from rooms W-D-E (2009 excavations). The analysed ceramic materials are recorded in the stratigraphic sequence UUSS 4-5, related to the abandonment of the spa-complex. In addition to some late-antique classes, all well documented in the Campania region, the finding of a new kind of lamp with the symbol of the menorah is considered as especially relevant.
