Abstract
ESPAÑOL: L’hospital de la Santa Creu de Vic, al segle XV, pertanyia al Consell de la Ciutat per exprès desig del seu fundador, Ramon Terrades. L’objectiu d’aquest estudi és dilucidar el model organitzatiu de l’hospital en aquest període, a partir de les dades extretes dels llibres de comptes que es conserven als arxius. Volem també définir quins mètodes utilitzava el Consell de la Ciutat per a controlar i fiscalitzar els comptes a més de l’estat dels seus béns. Tanmateix, el model no era del tot satisfactori i veiem a la documentació que el Conseller en Cap, exhorta als consellers a visitar l’hospital i foragitar l’hospitaler, si aquest no exercia la seva feina correctament. / ENGLISH: The hospital of Santa Creu of Vic, in the 15th century, belonged to the city council by the express wish of its founder, Ramon Terrades. The aim of this study is to elucidate the organizational model of the hospital in this period, based on the data extracted from the account books that are preserved in the municipal archives. We also want to define which methods the City Council used to control and audit the accounts in addition to the state of its goods. However, the model was not entirely satisfactory and we see in the documentation that the Conseller en Capexhorts the Consellers to visit the hospital and dismiss the hospital worker, if he was not performing his job correctly.
