Abstract
ITALIANO: Questo articolo è incentrato sullo studio del culto di Giobbe come patrono dei musicisti in età medievale, attraverso l’analisi di fonti letterarie e alcuni esempi derivanti dalla tradizione iconografica dell’Europa nord-occidentale. / ENGLISH: This article aims at investigating the cult of Job as patron saint of musicians in the Middle Ages by taking into account literary sources and a few examples from the unconventional iconographic tradition of northwestern Europe.
