Abstract

[IT] Sulla base di alcuni documenti inediti, ritrovati presso il suo archivio personale, l’articolo si sofferma sulla riflessione di Mario Dal Pra intorno alla storiografia filosofica cristiana. Pensata come seconda parte di una Storia della storiografia filosofica mai portata a termine – la prima era uscita col titolo La storiografia filosofica antica (1950) –, questa sezione dell’opera, di cui non rimangono che pochi ma significativi frammenti, si inserisce in un contesto compositivo ben determinato: la nuova stagione degli studi storico-filosofici nell’Italia del Dopoguerra e la fase di elaborazione del trascendentalismo della prassi. Tenendo conto di questo contesto, l’articolo esamina alcuni snodi concettuali fondamentali sullo sfondo del problema teorico più rilevante: i rapporti tra la filosofia e la sua storia. Viene anche sottolineato il carattere pionieristico degli studi intrapresi da Dal Pra in quegli anni. In un’appendice documentaria sono raccolti i testi inediti su cui si è fondata l’analisi. On the basis of some unpublished texts, found in his personal archive, the article focuses on Mario Dal Pra’s thought on Christian philosophical historiography. Conceived as the second part of a Storia della storiografia filosofica [History of philosophical historiography] that was never completed – only the first part was published under the title La storiografia filosofica antica [Ancient philosophical historiography] (1950) –, this section of the work, of which only a few but significant fragments remain, fits in a well-defined compositional context: the new season of historical-philosophical studies in post-war Italy and the processing phase of the so called “trascendentalismo della prassi”. Against this background, this paper examines some fundamental conceptual turning points of the most relevant theoretical issues: the relationship between philosophy and its history. The pioneering nature of the studies undertaken by Dal Pra in those years is also emphasized.
