Abstract

[IT] Il contributo verte sulla traduzione in francese dell’Ecloga Theoduli con la quale Jean Le Fèvre inaugura, a metà del secolo XIV, la sua produzione letteraria. Dopo aver dato conto della diffusione del modello latino nei due volgarizzamenti d’Oltralpe di Jacquemon Bochet e (appunto) Jean Le Fèvre, e aver messo in luce l’importanza del Theodolet nel corpus di un autore ancora non del tutto acquisito dalla critica, il saggio presenta la recensio completa della tradizione manoscritta e a stampa del componimento, accompagnata dall’edizione interpretativa del ms. L. Obiettivo dello studio è dunque quello di proporsi come strumento utile per una nuova edizione critica aggiornata del Theodolet. / [EN] The article focuses on the French translation of the Ecloga Theoduli by Jean Le Fèvre (c. 1350), which marks the beginning of his literary career. After providing an account of the dissemination of the Latin model in the two vernacular versions by Jacquemon Bochet and, notably, Jean Le Fèvre, and shedding light on the significance of the Theodolet within the corpus of an author not yet fully acknowledged by scholarship, the essay presents a comprehensive recensio of the manuscript and printed traditions of the text, accompanied by an interpretative edition of ms. L. This study therefore aims to serve as a valuable tool for an updated critical edition of Jean Le Fèvre’s Theodolet.
