Abstract

ITALIANO: Il volume raccoglie studi e ricerche svolte in Italia e in altri Paesi gravitanti intorno al bacino del Mediterraneo sul tema dei segni identitari della città e del paesaggio, al fine di favorire aggiornamenti scientifici, scambi di conoscenze ed esperienze sociali con riferimento a siti archeologici, centri storici urbani e borghi rurali, proponendo la lettura delle stratificazioni architettoniche, artistiche e naturali che ne caratterizzano tuttora i valori storico-ambientali, nonché le bellezze costiere e territoriali. La successione delle letture si divide in cinque sezioni, ognuna con approfondimenti specifici su tematiche riguardanti archeologia, il paesaggio, la storia della città e della forma urbis declinata nelle sue varie accezioni, con riferimento a città e territori di antica origine. / ENGLISH: This volume contains studies and research carried out in Italy and in other countries gravitating around the Mediterranean basin on the theme of the identity signs of the city and the landscape, with the aim of promoting scientific updates, exchanges of knowledge and social experiences with reference to archaeological sites, historic urban centres and rural villages, proposing a reading of the architectural, artistic and natural stratifications that still characterise their historic-environmental values, as well as their coastal and territorial beauty. The succession of readings is divided into five sections, each with specific in-depth studies on issues concerning archaeology, the landscape, the history of the city and the forma urbis declined in its various meanings, with reference to cities and territories of ancient origin.
