Abstract
The article deals with the archaeological data relating to the early medieval burials of Oderzo, concentrated in the southern part of the ancient Roman town. Their small number probably reflects the fact that during the Early Middle Ages it was transformed into a small settlement, of which we know a fortification of the Byzantine age and some other elements. The topographical position of the burials suggests that they gravitated to a place of worship, so far not archaeologically ascertained, located below the present Duomo of Oderzo.
