Abstract
ITA: Il destinatario di BM2 †642 – un famoso falso tra i diplomi di Ludovico il Pio conservati nell'Archivio dell'abbazia di Cluny – risulta un misterioso monastero di S. Pietro de «Aliano». L'A. è riuscita a individuare questo ente e a localizzare il suo antico sito nella Tuscia romana, nelle vicinanze di Tuscania. In questo saggio l'A. passa in rassegna criticamente anche tutte le altre fonti documentarie intorno all'origine e alla vicenda di questo ente affiliato a Cluny, che però già nel 1369 era ridotto a una rovina. / ENG: The addressee of BM2 †642 – a famous forgery among the documents of Emperor Louis the Pious preserved in the ancient Archives of the Abbey of Cluny – is the mysterious St. Peter «de Aliano». The A. has succeeded in individuating this monastery and locating the site Aliano in the Roman Tuscia, near Tuscania. In this paper the A. also gives a critical outline of other documentary sources about the origins and development of this monastery affiliated with Cluny, which in the year 1369 was already a ruin.
